Real Madrid need these five players in order to win the title.

The 2019-2020 season will resume on June 14 for Real Madrid when they face Eibar at the Alfredo Di Stefano. Behind Barcelona in the table after losing to Real Betis before La Liga’s postponement, Real will be eager to get back into first place and not let the title slip away.

Los Blancos should like their chances of winning if they can finally stop dropping points in frustrating fashion. And they should like their chances of winning La Liga in 2019-2020 even more.

Real Madrid have dealt with a lot of injuries this past season, and they need to hope they can stay healthy in 2020. Here are five players they cannot afford to lose.

Real Madrid CB Raphael Varane

Raphael Varane will go down as the best center back of his generation, and only teammate Sergio Ramos and Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk can currently stand toe-to-toe with him. The France captain is arguably the world’s best center back and has consistently shown it in the second half of the 2019-2020 season for Los Blancos.

Eder Militao is a great backup and Ramos is still one of the best in the game, but losing Varane would be disastrous. Look no further than his incredible performance in taking Antoine Griezmann out of the game in El Clasico as an example of what he brings to the table mentally. Varane is impossible to beat on his day.
