Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo had a wonderful game as he scored two goals and had an assist. His second goal will surely be one that will be remembered by fans forever. Cristiano shared this post via Twitter saying ” Let’s go team!”

Sergio Ramos

Capitan Sergio Ramos had a great match against Juventus with several blocks and interceptions making Keylor Navas’ night easier. Ramos shared a picture of himself and other teammates celebrating Ronaldo’s second goal via Twitter.

Toni Kroos

Once again, the German was industrious in the midfield. Kroos shared this image via Twitter earlier Wednesday.

My Thoughts

I think it is safe to say that the team is back! From where they started at the beginning of the season to where they stand today, one would think it was almost as if there was an alternate universe. Real Madrid is looking strong in their chase for a third consecutive Champions League title.

My only issue is the morale of some players on the team. Isco did get the start and had a wonderful game but does that guarantee he continues to start or even stays at the end of the season? Gareth Bale, on the other hand, has had great performances but sulked on the bench as he had a front row seat to one of the most historic goals ever.

There is lots to discuss in regards to the attitude of the players, but as I always like to tell people, enjoy these moments because you don’t know when they will end. We are witnessing a great era of football and our team is at the center of it all.
