Real Madrid will play six matches in the month of April with aspirations of closing the gap on Atletico Madrid and making it to the semifinals of the Champions League. Within a span of eight days, Madrid will play their most difficult matches of the month. Los Blancos will play four matches in La Liga and two matches in the Champions League.
While it will not be explicitly noted by Zidane or the players, the emphasis and focus will be the Champions League. It will be a repeat of last years UCL Final in Cardiff with Juventus.

With three of those five matches taking place at the Santiago Bernabèu, it will lighten the load of travel the team will have to endure. After their fifth match of the month, Madrid will be handed a well deserved 11-day break before their final game of April.
Rotation of the squad will be important now more than ever with plenty of minutes to be allocated. The depth of Madrid will be a great asset to Zidane as he will look to close the point differential in La Liga.
