Attack

Lucas Vazquez – 6.5

Again another all hustle performance from Lucas Vazquez who ran around the pitch trying to get things going. Taken out in the 57-minute, it’s no coincidence Girona started to find their footing once Lucas was no longer on the pitch.

Karim Benzema – 6.5

Karim has been having a great run of matches and did his best with the chance he had. With just one of his four shots meeting the target it wasn’t his most clinical performance. He tried to help build up the play as he has in recent weeks but with the lowest pass accuracy of the team at 69% it was no easy task.

Marco Asensio – 6.5

After his heroics against Ajax in the Champions League, he got the go ahead. Like the rest of his attacking line, he had a good game but not good enough to break through the Girona defence.
