Despite already signing several big name players and selling some others, Real Madrid has been tied with a plethora of players that could still join before the transfer window closes. But, these three moves will definitely not happen.
President Florentino Perez has had one of the best summer transfer windows at Real Madrid and the fans should be very happy with the business dealings thus far.
The signings of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, and the arrival of Rodrygo Goes grabbed the headlines, but adding Takefusa Kubo, Eder Militao, and Ferland Mendy will prove vital to the first team in the next three to four years.
Mateo Kovacic, Marcos Llorente, Theo Hernandez, and Raul de Tomas were sold while Martin Odegaard, Borja Mayoral, Jesus Vallejo, and Andriy Lunin have gone out on loan.
Manager Zinedine Zidane was promised more control in transfer business and it appears he has gotten the squad he wants. Yet, rumors continue to pour in day after day. These three deals – both incoming and outgoing – will not happen.
Real Madrid will not sign Donny Van de Beek
Dutch midfielder Donny Van de Beek had a breakout year with Ajax this past season and was one of the key player’s in the run to the Champions League semifinal. For some reason, Real Madrid has been fixated on signing more and more midfielders over the last few years.
While Van de Beek fueled the rumors created by the Spanish media saying he wasn’t sure what his future looked like, there is simply no way this deal gets done now.
Van de Beek told the press a couple of days ago, “Nothing is certain yet, but there’s a good chance I’ll continue here,” the player said in the mixed zone. Whatever happens, Real Madrid and Ajax are both fantastic clubs. I can’t complain.”
Although the Dutch international is an incredible talent and has a bright future, Los Blancos don’t need a player like this. Unlike FC Barcelona, president Perez will not overload a certain position with talent.

Isco and James Rodriguez can both back up Toni Kroos and Luka Modric which would leave Van de Beek in the dark. Couple in the way that Fede Valverde has played in the preseason and this move would cause nothing but problems in the team.
