1. CM Toni Kroos

With all due respect to Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, and Vinicius Junior, the best attacking-minded player of February 2021 for Real Madrid was absolutely the German international Toni Kroos.

The best deep-lying playmaker in the world, Kroos has been pulling the strings all season long for Los Blancos. He leads the team with six assists in La Liga this season but should have more, as the likes of Marco Asensio have continually squandered his chances.

Nevertheless, Kroos has not been overlooked by Madridistas, who understand how crucial he is to the team. He had a goal and two assists in the month of February, recording at least four key passes in each of the four matches he played in, which is just unreal. And Kroos even had nine tackles, averaging more than two per match to provide an underrated defensive contribution.

As a passer, Kroos has been masterful. He attempted over 100 passes against both Valencia and Atalanta, completing 94 percent of them in each match. His passes attempt count actually reached 139 in the Champions League fixture!

Kroos is operating on another level right now, and Real Madrid fans know that they owe him a lot for this undefeated February. He has been the beacon of attacking quality amidst injuries and continued struggles from the usual suspects up top.
