CONSISTENCY

Karim Benzema’s consistency is amongst the best. Ever since he signed for Real Madrid in the summer of 2009, he has been delivering the good’s at the biggest club in the world despite all the competition.

After 12 seasons with Real Madrid, Benzema has scored 279 goals and has provided 144 assists in 559 fixtures in all competitions He’s averaging almost a goal contribution in every game that he has played for the Merengues.

While critics argue that Benzema’s statistics are impressive because he plays for the biggest club in Spain and has not performed against quality oppositions, his performances in the Champions League speak for themselves.

He’s scored 71 goals in Europe’s elite competition without a single penalty and has won the competition on four occasions. He’s currently placed fifth on the list but it is certain that he will finish higher up by the time he hangs up his boots.

Even after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, Benzema has managed to single-handedly drag Real Madrid’s attack that has been massively over-reliant on the Frenchman. His performances in the Euro 2020 with France were also a testament to his greatness.

Despite being excluded from the national team for five years, Benzema performed exceptionally well for Les Bleus scoring four goals in the tournament in the most demanding fixtures. Greatness is written all over Karim Benzema’s name.
