PAUL POGBA- MANCHESTER UNITED

Paul Pogba is now in his final year at Manchester United and his contract expires in June 2022. The Red Devils have recently seen a bumper offer refused by the player and his entourage which means that they must get rid of him this summer or lose him for free in the next. Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him, but Real Madrid have been linked with the player in the past as well.

The France international has seen his commitment for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side come into question, especially at the back of his performances with the national team. One can clearly see a massive amount of disparity in what he brings to the field when he plays for the Red Devils and when he is deployed in a free-roaming role by Didier Deschamps.

Real Madrid must not sign a player who does not give his best at club level and has had his professionalism off the field come under question more than once too. Not to mention, he will be a financial burden on the club regardless of whether he comes for free due to Mino Raiola’s demands. Finally, it will impact a lot of young midfielders in the squad like Antonio Blanco, Martin Odegaard and Takefusa Kubo as far as regular development is concerned for them.
