2. RAPHAEL VARANE

Raphael Varane is still a Real Madrid player, at least for the moment. According to Samuel Luckhurst, Varane’s move to Manchester United is almost done after the club has agreed to personal terms. It’s only a matter of hours/days before Varane is officially a Red Devil.

Until then, he’s still a Madrid player and is the club’s second most valuable player on the transfer market. The 28-year-old is currently valued at 70 million euros on the transfer market. That seems quite ironic because Manchester United are negotiating a deal around a figure of 45-55 million euros.

That is simply because his contract runs out next year and the player himself has shown no interest in renewing terms. With that being said, United are trying to squeeze out a good deal because if they can’t this summer then Varane will most certainly join them next year for free.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos will look to close the deal after seeing him reject all of their contract offers. The transfer fee received will most likely be used for Operation Mbappe to bring the 22-year-old to the Spanish capital this summer.
