Real Madrid scored four goals against Granada when they played at the Santiago Bernabeu in October.

On a streak of five straight clean sheets, Real Madrid love their chances at closing out the season with three more victories and never dropping points in their 11 games since La Liga’s return. Real are currently four points ahead of Barcelona in the league table, but they know they cannot assume they have the league won until the final whistle of the 11th “final” is blown.

Granada are in ninth place and a tough team in La Liga, but Real Madrid are the heavy favorites and in formidable form. Here are three possible Man of the Match candidates for Los Merengues on Monday night.

CF Karim Benzema

If you had to bet on any one player to be the Man of the Match, then you would put your money on Karim Benzema, who has been Real’s best attacker this season. Benzema scored a penalty and assisted for Marco Asensio in the 2-0 win against Deportivo Alaves on Friday, and while he isn’t 100 percent after picking up a slight hamstring knock, he is the lone striker available.

The 32-year-old has scored 18 goals with eight assists in La Liga this season, leading Los Blancos in both statistics. He creates so many problems around the opposition’s box and often drops deep to provide an outlet for the wide forwards, specifically Vinicius Junior when playing the diamond formation. And that could be the setup for Real Madrid on Monday.
