Real Madrid have built up a great reputation as a club who have signed some of the most highly rated Brazilian talents in recent years and developed them into first-team stars at Santiago Bernabeu. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo both arrived in Spain while still teenagers, and now they are starters for Los Blancos.

Vinicius has gone from an incredibly talented but unreliable and inconsistent winger to one of the best on the planet. On the other hand, Rodrygo is now starting regularly for Real Madrid as well and seems to be in the middle of his own breakthrough season with the club.

Now, it looks like Real Madrid have set their sights on the next big thing of Brazilian football as well, in the form of Endrick of Palmeiras. He is considered to be the biggest talent to come out of the country since Neymar and has already earned comparisons to Ronaldo Nazario, at just 16 years of age.

Clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be very interested in him. But as reported by This is Futbol, Fabrizio Romano said while speaking on The Here We Go Podcast:

"“For Endrick, keep an eye on Real Madrid. In the last few weeks they are pushing, they want to sign Endrick, they are insisting to sign Endrick.“So Real Madrid are pushing, PSG made an official bid turned down by Palmeiras, but PSG and Chelsea remain in the race, so it’s Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid as we said weeks ago, but now I can say Real Madrid are really pushing.“They are trying to communicate to Endrick, to his father Douglas, to his agents, to his family, that they consider Endrick a top player for the first team in 2024, so they want him to arrive to Europe and be immediately part of Real Madrid’s ambitious plans for the future.“It’s up to the player, but negotiations are ongoing.”"

It is safe to say that Endrick is one of the brightest prospects in world football right now. While he has not played much senior football for Palmeiras till now, he has impressed in his limited appearances for the club and has three goals to his name already.

It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can sign him or not, as both PSG and Chelsea are believed to hold genuine interest in the player as well.

Endrick has a €60 million release clause in his current deal with Palmeiras and that would be an incredible amount to shell out to sign a 16-year-old, who has not even played 10 games of senior football till now. And yet, it would not be a surprise to see someone trigger that clause soon.
