Los Blancos hosted Osasuna at the Bernabeu.  The match started of with a bang, with the newly available Cristiano Ronaldo opening the scoreboard. Cristiano Ronaldo had missed the first two games of the season, but looks as prolific as ever. • Barcelona started the game off in typical fashion. The Catalans created chances on the left wing, with Neymar being involved in most of the plays, but Alaves’s defense seemed to be the most organized back line the Catalans had seen thus far. Alaves then opened up the score in the 39th minute with a goal by Deyverson.  It wasn’t long before Barcelona equalized though, with a header from defender Jeremy Mathieu in the first minute of the second half.

Ibai Gomez then put his team up in the 64th minute. Mascherano failed to make what seemed like an easy clearance, before Ibai got away from him and placed angled shot past the goalkeeper. The final score read 2-1 in Deportivo Alaves’s favor.
