Same Squad, Same Result?

Real Madrid will roll out nearly the exact same starting XI tonight that got them the win in Madrid about three weeks ago.

The only changes to the lineup come by the return of Gareth Bale, who was still injured during the last tie, and Pepe replacing the injured Varane in the central of defense next to Sergio Ramos. Other than that, the midfield, full backs, striker, and left winger Ronaldo are all identical to the previous match.

It will be interesting to see how the team comes out and decides to play as the Real Madrid attack will be back at full strength with the ‘BBC’ once again all healthy.

On the other side, Napoli manager Maurizio Sarrion puts out a strikingly similar group to the team we saw in Madrid just a few weeks ago:

Dries Mertens was rumored to be doubtful and was listed as a game time decision, he will now start up top along his usual counterparts, Insigne and the former Real Madrid man, Callejón.

Sarrion said prior to the match of his team and his players, “You’ve got to be bold. We risk [losing] no matter how we play, and certainly if we play a fearful game here it would be counterproductive, so we are going to be as bold as we can.”
