Forwards

Alvaro Morata- 6/10

Morata was finally given the start he wanted, but much like James Rodriguez, missed his chance to impress. He looked unsure of himself, passing when he needed to shoot and vice versa. He received various fouls in the box, but ultimately failed to even take a shot on target. If he wanted to make a statement as to why he needs to start over Benzema, he failed miserably.

Cristiano Ronaldo- 8/10

We all know how this goes: Another night, another good performance and record from the living legend. Cristiano had tons of opportunities tonight, and managed to make two of them end in a goal. The other was wrongly ruled offside but he showed us a little style prior to the ruling, chipping the ball in over the keeper. He was also wrongly denied a harsh foul that would’ve been a penalty, but he still managed to be the forward we’ve come to know and love. He is also now tied with Di Stefano as the top scorer at the Bernabéu, so all in all, it was a good game for “The Dark Invader.”
