The Goal Scoring Streak

The unstoppable attacking force that is the Real Madrid goal scoring machine has now scored in 48 straight games over the course of the last two seasons. With Gareth Bale returning after serving a two match ban, both Alvaro Morata and Karim Benzema doing well to find the back of the net recently.

These 48 games already breaks the previous record held by FC Barcelona, and Real Madrid will be looking for several goals in this game. Zidane is looking for more form his players, saying of Gareth Bale, “Gareth is an important member of the squad,” he told Sky Sports. “We are happy with his return and that he is with us. We know that he can help us.

“He has a lot more to come. I retired at 34 and I was still learning at 34 all the time. It’s the beauty of this sport. When you come to Madrid it’s to do something different, learn more or to improve things.”

Real Madrid will likely need a couple goals in Bilbao if they want to come away with a win. Ronaldo and Benzema should be at the forefront of the attack for Madrid.
