The Bernabéu Crowd

Zinedine Zidane said that the key to the match could lie in the crowd noise and atmosphere created by the hometown crowd at the Santiago Bernabéu. There’s always an extra buzz around the city when it’s time for Atleti to face Real.

And as always, the Madrid faithful will be out in number to support the royal whites to yet another victory over Atleti.

The crowd was definitely loud when the team returned after the international break to face Deportivo Alavés, chanting and cheering the squad on the entire match. The same will be needed if they want to defeat their rivals again this season.

It was an impressive 3-0 win on the road for Real in the last meeting, and the home field advantage should do a lot of good for the team, and boost their morale.

The game will kickoff from the hallowed grounds of the Bernabéu at 10:15 AM EST, 4:15 PM local time.
