Real Madrid Reject Liverpool Bid for Marco Asensio

Real Madrid seem to have struck gold with the quick development of attacking midfielder Marco Asensio. The 21 year-old Spanish phenom has flown onto the scene in Madrid, after spending last season with Espanyol and performing well above expectation, Real have utilized the sure to be star a decent amount this season. Asensio has been crucial in filling in for the injured Gareth Bale, replacing him in the first leg against Bayern, providing the game winning assist to Ronaldo. This earned Marco a substitute bid in the second leg as well, and the 21 year-old failed to disappoint, scoring the final goal of the match on a fantastic individual effort.
