Keylor Navas has finally returned to form

There’s no denying that this has been Keylor Navas’ worst year statistically with Real Madrid. And we here at The Real Champs, have been very down on Navas’ play all season. However, the last month and a half, Navas seems to have returned to top form.

The Costa Rican was crucial in helping his team knock off both Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid, plus playing great against FC Barcelona in a losing effort and a very strong performance today against Sevilla.

Navas made 4 stops in the first half, robbing Stefan Jovetic more than once. He made just one save in the second half, but played a sweeper type role, preventing Sevilla from getting any chance to even shoot.

If Navas can continue to perform like he has in these last several matches over the course of April and May, he might save himself his job. The fans have gotten off his back, and he seems much, much more confident in himself and his ability.
