It hasn’t even been two weeks since Real Madrid won their 12th European championship over Juventus, and the club has turned their focus to the 2017/2018 season. Earlier today, Los Blancos released their new kits for the coming season, and wow, they are nice.

If the announcement of the new Real Madrid kit doesn’t get you hyped for this upcoming season, I don’t know what will. Not only does the release of the new kits get me hype for the coming season, but it really makes me want to buy one.

These jerseys are beautiful! Nacho certainly agrees.

The classic white home kits are ‘more white’ than previous years and instead of the traditional darker blue or purple, the stripes on the sleeves and the color of the patch is a light, sky blue color that is supposed to resemble the blue sky of Madrid.

With the always incredible looking gold Club World Cup winners patch just above the Adidas symbol on the right side of the jersey, the white, light blue, and gold is incredible looking, solely based on the pictures and videos I’ve seen thus far.

Don’t focus too much on the home jersey, as the away jersey is just as cool. According to the team site, the away black jerseys are a return to the past where Real Madrid had great success. “The second kit returns to black, a color that has been taken on by the fans and with which Real Madrid has already experienced historic moments, such as the winning of the eighth European Cup in 2000.”

The stripes are a turquoise that stands out on the black shirt and will look nice alongside the “Fly Emirates” white lettering on the front. On the back, the name and numbers of the players will the usual white, but looks very classy.

It’s clear from the hype around the jersey release that fans and critics are very excited and pleased with the new look, with some media outlets going as far as to label the new home kit as a classic.

The new kits are already available for purchase through the team official store, and, if you’re anything like me, you’re already putting down the money to order one of these bad boys.

Ronaldo and company will be sure to look slick as always for the 2017/2018 season, and the first chance to see the team in the official new uniforms in competitive play will come against Manchester Untied on August 8th in Macedonia.
