Alexander Isak – Forward

Alexander Isak is a Swedish national currently plying his trade at German club Borussia Dortmund.

This winter, Real Madrid tried to sign Isak, known to some as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic. But the rapid Swede elected to join Dortmund instead. Even with my Real Madrid fandom, I do believe that was the best spot for him.

Nonetheless, I still think Real should make another push. Morata appears to be on his way out, Benzema is getting on in age, and Mbappe hasn’t been signed yet.

Right now, Real Madrid has plenty of potential options, but no sure thing at striker that has a great chance of still being either top quality or on the roster in three years. Isak could be that one.

I’m not saying  Real Madrid have to play him, but I think that adding a player with this type of upside would be massive. Madrid can sign him for a much smaller fee sooner rather than later and can continue to loan him out, possibly back even to Borussia Dortmund.
