Marcos Llorente – Defensive Midfielder

Llorente is another one of these youth players just being brought in, but this time back from loan. Marcos was arguably one of the best CDM’s in La Liga last season, if not the best.

He exampled dominance in both defense and breaking attacks. The young Spanish midfielder will definitely see some playing time to open the season with Casemiro being Real’s only true CDM besides Marcos.

The two of them will possibly form the best defensive midfield tandem in the world. Llorente will definitely have to fight hard for his playing time with how good Casemiro has been for Real, but it would come as no surprise to me to see him earn a larger role in the team.
