The Real Madrid injury list is slowly but surely diminishing. Zinedine Zidane received some goods news today as Theo Hernandez, Marcelo, and Karim Benzema trained with the team. Here are the details.

Finally! Real Madrid actually have players returning to the squad rather than going out with injuries! It is really a glorious day.

Both Marcelo and Theo returned to the Valdebebas training ground Wednesday afternoon as the first team players who didn’t go out on international duty, and the Real Madrid Castilla team, worked out with Zidane and the coaching staff.

Karim Benzema returned to training yesterday and looks to be moving and shooting the ball well coming off a hamstring injury suffered against Levante back in early September.

The Big Benz will be available for Real’s first match back after the international break against Getafe as he has recovered from his injury quicker than expected.

As for Theo and Marcelo, it is still unknown when the two left-backs will be cleared to return as much like Benzema, Marcelo was supposed to miss more time than it appears he will.

Theo suffered a partial separation of his shoulder in the 3-1 win over Real Sociedad on September 17th and has been working to make a return to fill in for Marcelo ever since the Brazilian starter went down.

Much like Karim, Theo looks to be back to full form based on the videos from the training session.

Marcelo is likely still a few weeks from making a return after he was only able to complete the first half of the workout. Both Theo and the Big Benz were able to complete the full workout.

Marcelo suffered a grade 2 tear of his left bicep femoris muscle which takes about a month to fully heal just two weeks ago. So, Real Madrid might have the star fullback back in time to face Tottenham on October 17th.

With these three players returning, Zidane has just three names remaining on the injury sheet: Mateo Kovacic, Dani Carvajal, and Gareth Bale.

Los Blancos have about a week and a half remaining until their match at Getafe, and that should give Theo, Marcelo, and Karim plenty of time to get their fitness back and make sure they are 100% come match time.
