Goal of the Day

Isn’t this goal from Marcelo just absurd?

Yes, the Real Madrid left-back stepped and scored probably the best goal of his career on this shot on Friday in a friendly against Japan.

While I am impressed with the goal, I am a little angry he hasn’t done something like this while playing for his club. Maybe now he will step up and take more shots like this for Real since he knows he can make it from distance. Amazing shot, amazing goal from Marcelo.

Gareth Bale suffers another injury setback

This is really some devastating news not only for Real Madrid but also for Gareth Bale.

It was announced early Friday that the Welsh international would be for another month or so after he strained a muscle in his thigh in his return to training this week.

Seeing Isco play with his son at training warms my heart

Isco and his son have one of the best relationships. The 3-year-old is always seen on the field with his dad after matches, at training, or on the star’s Instagram page.

This video of Isco messing around with his only child really makes my day.

Not to mention, seeing Alvaro Morata hanging out and talking to Isco, his son, and Marco Asensio was some serious nostalgia for me.

Not a bad slide tackle from Marco either.

Toni Kroos misses friendly at Wembley with illness

Toni Kroos was held out of Germany’s friendly match with England Friday at Wembley Stadium with an illness.

Manager Joachim Löw elected to hold the midfielder out of the match after he was limited in practice in the lead up to the match.

If anything, Real Madrid fans should be happy the midfield beast had some extra time to rest while not playing for his club.

Alvaro Morata open for a return to Real Madrid

It seems Spanish striker Alvaro Morata is never content where he is. Just a couple weeks ago, Alvaro said he wished he had never left Juventus to go back to Real Madrid.

Friday, he said he would welcome the opportunity to return to Real Madrid to be the starter. This all comes just months after he signed a lucrative deal with English side, Chelsea.

“Of course, I would go back, after winning everything at Chelsea and having a great career there,” he said in an interview.

“It is very difficult to say no for someone who is a Madridista. I don’t honestly think it will happen, but you never know.”

“I do not even think about it because I’m very happy in London.”
