Marcus Rashford thanks Ronaldo for career influence
Marcus Rashford is one of the hottest young players in the world right now and has been lighting the Premier League ablaze with incredible goals and passes.
Rashford said in an interview he has Brazilian and former Real Madrid forward, Ronaldo, to thank for influencing his career choice and his play-style on the field.
"“He always played free. No matter where he was playing, he played free and went out there and expressed himself. When you do that, that’s when you play your best football. You model yourself on him naturally. When you’re young you watch clips of the best players in the world and try and emulate them.”"
I would say Ronaldo is a great example to follow.
How Philippe Coutinho angered Jurgen Klopp
As we Real Madrid fans realized a couple days ago, the international break is not friendly on player’s bodies.
Philippe Coutinho could make his Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, very angry if he decides to play for the Brazilian national team on Tuesday in a friendly against England.
The wickedly talented Coutinho has missed three straight matches for his club due to a thigh injury and he wishes to return to play this week for his national team.
While Klopp hasn’t directly said he doesn’t want Coutinho to stay out against England, it is recommended he take it easy on his thigh injury in hopes to return to play for Liverpool next weekend.
Ronaldinho still has game
Despite being 37, Ronaldinho is still one of the craftiest players you’ll ever see on the field.
In a friendly match on Saturday to promote world peace, the Brazilian and former Barcelona frontman teamed up with Carles Puyol in Mexico for a little fundraiser event.
Although he wasn’t playing professionals, Dinho bagged a beautiful goal and a nifty assist as he led his side, the Stars of America, to a 5-4 win in a penalty shootout against Europe.
This guy is just so silky smooth on the ball it’s baffling.
