Wednesday’s edition of ‘The Real Links’ features a recap of Real Madrid’s thrashing of APOEL, details on Facebook and Amazon buying rights to broadcast La Liga, and a look around at the Champions League teams who have qualified for the knockout stage thus far. Let’s jump in!

Goal of the Day
What a goal from Luka Modric! The Croatian has been on a surprising offensive tear recently for club and country and he continued that in Tuesday’s 6-0 win over APOEL.
After a clearance attempt from the Cypriot side, midfield maestro Luka Modric stepped up and volleyed this ball into the bottom corner of the net to give his team the lead.
It was the spark Real Madrid needed, as after this goal, the floodgates were well and truly opened wide.

A full recap of the win in Nicosia
If you are a Real Madrid fan, this is exactly the match you were looking for. If not, then you are afraid of the possibility of both Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo getting their offensive footing back as they both scored a brace.
This was truly a treat to watch as the team was finally clicking on all cylinders offensively, and managed to hang on to the clean sheet.
Here is a full recap of the match.
Dani Carvajal could face a two-match ban after purposely time wasting
This isn’t good for Real as right-back Dani Carvajal could not only be out for Madrid’s final group stage match against Borussia Dortmund in a couple weeks, he could miss the first leg of the round of 16 as well for purposely trying to get a yellow card.
Carvajal was given a yellow by the referee for time-wasting before a throw-in right before the end of the math.
As it is stated in the article from ESPNFC, “Article 15 of its Disciplinary Regulations by ‘receiving a yellow card on purpose’ — an offense that carries a two-game ban.”
Uh oh.
Real Madrid player ratings from the 6-0 win
Staff writer Hasan Karim is not afraid to voice his opinion and that is exactly what he did when recapping the performances of each and every player from Madrid’s starting XI.
There is no sympathy for the likes of Marco Asensio and Lucas Vasquez who he says didn’t do enough in this match.
The media doesn’t understand Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo denied interviews following his great performance Tuesday night, claiming the media twist his words and don’t understand him.
“I’m not talking, as when I talk I’m not understood. And then you [media] talk about something I did not say.”
Even after victory, this guy still finds ways to get mad.
Real Madrid set Champions League record
The club has now made it through the group stage all 26 times they have participated in the Champions League and also broke the record for most consecutive knockout round qualifications, making it 21 years in a row without going through.
