Form so far: Well, in a group containing Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, AS Roma finished at the top. Now, whether it was scrappy or fortunate, they still deserve to be taken seriously because of it. They have done fairly well in Serie A as well, with 11 wins from 14 games and are just 6 points from the top with 2 matches in hand.

What to what out for: Roma’s coach, Eusebio Di Francesco, has earned high praise this season for his astute tactics and use of the talent at hand. Their forward line of Eden Džeko, El Shaarawy, and Perotti have also scored 22 goals this season.

Verdict: While they are a threat, and have caused a few upsets already this season, Real Madrid won’t be losing their sleep if they do end up drawing Roma.
