Real Madrid are in crisis, and every possible solution comes with its own set of pitfalls. Here’s why there are no easy answers for Madrid going forward.

Real Madrid are in serious trouble. After losing to a late goal from Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid are now enjoying their worst La Liga season since 1999/2000. Fans are clamoring for solutions.

Should we fire Zidane? Should we start using only bench players? Should we buy new players?  All of these seem like potential avenues of response. But each possible solution comes with its own set of intense problems.

In this article, I’ll go through a list of possible solutions, and explain why each answer only brings up more questions.
