Gareth Bale

With two goals on the night Bale’s smile could not be any wider as he shared a positive note with fans via Twitter:

Nacho

Another player with two goals, one that shocked us all, shared how proud he was to be able to contribute on the scoresheet:

Translation: “Very special day, 2 goals and a great victory for the team to continue building confidence. Come on!”

Cristiano Ronaldo

After getting back into his scoring groove, Ronaldo had a simple message:

Translation: “Let’s go team”

My Thoughts

Last time I mentioned that the win against Leganes was a confidence boost, Sunday’s scoreline proves I’m right. This time around is even better though, not only is such a thrashing great for the confidence, it genuinely is a step in the right direction. Many are saying that La Liga is over, and if that is true that is no excuse for this team to let off the gas pedal.
