Cristiano Ronaldo is coming back to beast mode

Ronaldo has now scored 10 La Liga goals since the start of 2018, more than any other player. The last few matches, he is averaging two goals per game, assists aside. He has now scored 300 La Liga goals for Real Madrid (299 if you go by La Liga records).

This man has an uncanny ability to show up when it matters most. Last season, he was lethal in the second half. If his current form is anything to go by, he can be even more decisive for Madrid in the next few months. At a time when Real Madrid needs him the most to salvage their season.

People continue to write him off, and he continues to answer on the pitch. At 33, he is still the most influential and game-changing player for Los Blancos. His legend continues to grow at Madrid and the world over.

A lot of credit goes to Zidane for his careful handling of Ronaldo and open communication with him. He rests him more and keeps him fresh for the key fixtures. This is different from a few years before where he used to approach the end of the seasons exhausted and injured, having played almost every minute of every game.
