Real Madrid will be traveling to Catalunya to face Espanyol in La Liga. Los Blancos are enjoying a good run of form after being knocked out of Copa Del Rey and this game should be an easy win. Here is our quick match preview.

Real Madrid have finally started looking more like Real Madrid. Goals are flowing in and as a result, Real Madrid have scored 20 goals in their last five matches. Los Blancos have displayed better fluidity in their game play and the team looks a lot more confident. It seems that their worst is behind them and team is ready to surge in the final third of the season.

Most importantly, Cristiano has found his scoring boots and he has already scored ten goals and a couple of assists in his last six matches. Suddenly, every player and every formation that Zidane has tried is working wonders. The only blemish in this good run of results is Real Madrid’s lack of solidity at the back. They have consistently allowed goals at the back, barring the last match against Alavés, thanks to Keylor Navas.

The match against Espanyol looks to be an easy win for Los Blancos. Espanyol have failed to beat Real Madrid in any competition since 2007, that is 19 games to date. Real will be hoping that their undefeated run continues at Estadi Cornellà-El Pra. Real are just seven points behind Atletico Madrid and have to keep pace with the cross-town rivals.
