Jerome Boateng vs. Cristiano Ronaldo
The Portuguese ace will naturally carry the single biggest threat for the visitors. He has scored in the each of the 12 games in all competitions and will be looking bag a couple more here. After all, Ronaldo has nine goals against Bayern, his favorite prey in the competition after Juventus.
Cristiano played 22 matches against German clubs and has 26 goals (1.18 goals on average per match) including 9 goals against Bayern alone. [as] https://t.co/tQIcN5lYRb

Ronaldo’s impervious form can be traced to his evolution as a striker.
He is seen getting into striking positions more often, while Karim Benzema serves as a distraction to the defenders. He keeps them busy so that the Portuguese forward has the space to latch onto the deliveries. Boateng’s task is be vigilante here.
The German center-back will have to deal with a Ronaldo in peak form and that’s a Herculean effort even for a defender of his stature. Shutting him out successfully would go a long way in denying the visitors a crucial away goal.
