Attack

Cristiano Ronaldo – 6

Ronaldo made some well-timed runs on Bayern’s defense but the pass was either weighted too much or he was unable to control it. It’s hard to criticise the talisman as he has scored in every match of the Champions League this season. While he is usually on another level, yesterday he came back down to earth and proved that he is in fact human.

Substitutes

Marco Asensio – 8.5

What more can you ask from a substitute who’s just 22 years-old? The wonder boy who is Marco Asensio showcased his miraculous talent once again as he scored the brace for Real Madrid. It was an incredible one time finish that will leave you in awe. Marco came on for Isco at the start of the second-half and gave Real Madrid exactly what they needed in attack.

Karim Benzema – 6

Coming in with just a little over 20 minutes to play, Benzema only had one opportune chance on goal. It was a tight angle shot on the right side that almost snuck under the goalie’s leg.
