Real Madrid will travel to the Camp Nou to face FC Barcelona in what is the last Clásico of this season. Unlike other seasons, this meeting will not hold any bearing on the league title race. However, El Clásico is a matter of pride and both the teams will want to win the game. Here is our quick match preview.

The meeting between Real Madrid and Barcelona is probably the most electric game on the planet in any sport. A game played between two great opponents, both of whom have the greatest players of this generation in Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi among their ranks.

The game is a matter of pride between two of the best clubs in the world and whatever the occasion, losing is not an option.

When the season started, there was a stark difference in the mood in both camps. Barcelona had won only the Copa Del Rey in the season gone by and lost Neymar to PSG. A thumping defeat to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup came next and broke a lot of Catalan hearts.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, was coming into this season with probably their best campaign in recent memory. It felt as if they could do no wrong and could thrash anyone and everyone they faced.

Yet, here we are. Going into this Clásico, there is a sense of dampened excitement. Barca has already wrapped up the league and Real Madrid would prefer to stay focused on the Champions League Final.

However, both sets of players will set foot in the Camp Nou looking to win. Barcelona will want to extend their undefeated run in their bid to add another feather to their domestic double. As for Real Madrid, they will want to settle the score for their loss to their arch rivals earlier this season.
