Just yesterday The Real Champs spoke about the rumors of Neymar Jr. coming to the capital of Spain. The rumors are starting to carry some weight and are picking up speed with the Spanish giants looking to get Neymar’s autograph before the World Cup.

Anyone who doubts the ability and brilliance of Neymar is either a hater or simply ignorant. Put aside any skepticism of the man’s character he is without a doubt a fabulous player and would be an asset to any squad in the world. Hitting the peak of his career and at just 26 years-old the Brazilian will continue to grow as one of the faces of global football.

In his first since at Paris Saint-Germain after leaving FC Barcelona the winger has worked his magic for his new team. Neymar boasts a remarkable 28 goals and 16 assists in just 30 games with PSG this season. Had he not picked up an injury in February there is no doubt his numbers would be even better.

Like the famous saying goes “there’s more than meets the eye”, this holds true for Neymar as well. The goals, glitz, and glamour all come at a cost, a cost that is more than just money. Here are three reasons why Madrid would be better off without the Brazilian star.
