Real Madrid players held a training session with young fans at the Valdebebas last Tuesday and answered some questions. Here’s a look at what they had to say.
It was a busy media day for Real Madrid last week as they held two big events at the training ground. The club hosted two events with some of their sponsors. Real Madrid is a club that focuses on community involvement and showed it.
Movistar Event
The Real Madrid squad took part in an event organized by one of the club’s lead sponsors, Movistar. The company facilitates much of the teams digital content, both photo, and video.
Movistar invited 50 Real Madrid fans to the training ground to spend some time with their favorite players. The event took place shortly after the team’s training session, with photo ops, autographs, and a Q&A period.
Sergio Ramos
With the Champions League Final looming, many of the questions asked by the fans pertained to the contest. Sergio Ramos spoke about “having another chance to prove that we are the kings of Europe is a very positive thing.”

Ramos has been a key player in Madrid’s continental success and that will hold true come next week as well. His leadership and dominance in the back are vital to the teams’ ability to win.

Luka Modric
Luka Modric focused more on the opponents for the Final, Liverpool. The Croatian conceded that while Liverpool may not be the favorites, “you can see from the games they’ve played that they deserved to be in the final.” Despite pushing into his 30’s Modric has been a key cog in Madrid’s midfield.

Marcelo and Nacho
Both Marcelo and Nacho touched on the DNA of Real Madrid expressing it’s never giving up attitude. Nacho explained to the fans:
