Led by El Capitan Sergio Ramos, the Spanish national team is predicted to be one of the contenders for the 2018 World Cup. The reason many experts have picked Real to make a deep run in the tournament is because of the incredible depth and young talent that is set to step into the spotlight.

Manager Julen Lopetegui had a very difficult task of selecting just 23 players to take on the plane to Russia.

Spain has a relatively easy group which features Iran, making their first appearance in the tournament since 1978, Morocco making their fourth-ever appearance, and Euro 2016 winners, Portugal.

Many expect the Spanish and Portuguese to battle it out for the first spot in the group with neither of the other two sides having the talent of the two European countries.

Let’s take a look at the Real Madrid players who will be apart of the team and their previous international experience heading into the tournament.
