Morocco

Morocco’s national team caused a fair number of problems for those in their group, especially Spain and Portugal. In their first game which was against Ira,n they gave away a late own goal resulting in all points lost.

The North African nation would finish their group in the last place but do so with pride. In their last game of the group stage, they held Spain to a 2-2 draw.  Over three games Morocco was only able to score twice while conceding four goals.

Achraf Hakimi

Real Madrid right-back Achraf Hakimi worked as hard as he could in an effort to help his country win at least one game in the group stage. Even though Achraf was unable to make it through to the Round of 16, what he’s done thus far is quite impressive. Not even 20 years-old he is a high profile player for his national team. The young man has a bright future ahead of him.
