Vinicius Júnior to be introduced to Real Madrid fans Friday

Labeled as the next Neymar, Vinicius Júnior will be officially unveiled as a Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Friday.

When 17-year-old forward Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira Júnior steps foot on the grass at the beautiful Bernabéu, it will be the beginning of what could be an illustrious career for a wickedly talented player.

After playing senior football in Brazil with Flamengo for just a season and a half, President Florentino Perez and new manager Julen Lopetegui were chomping at the bit to bring this guy over from his home country.

There was significant speculation that Vinicius would play one more season in the Brazil Serie A but, after scoring four goals and providing three assists in just under 1,000 minutes of play time, it is clear that this kid is destined for greatness.

Already, in his first-week training with the three-time defending Champions League winners, Vinicius looks right at home going toe-to-toe with some of the best in Spain.

I am sure the crowd at the stadium will be massive as they try to get their first glimpse of the Brazilian wonderkid with incredible foot skills. One of the best parts of these introductions is not getting to see the player put on a little show in front of the fans on the pitch, but also hearing what they have to say at the press conference.

Here is all the information as to when the presser and the on-field festivities will begin from the Real Madrid official website.

"“Vinicius Jr. will be unveiled tomorrow, Friday 20 July, at 12:30pm CEST in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabéu. Vinicius Jr. will then set foot on the Santiago Bernabéu pitch for the first time in a Real Madrid C. F shirt before addressing the press in the media room.”“The invited media outlets wishing to attend the event must do so bearing the relevant professional accreditation or that of their company at the entrance to the presidential box located on Calle Padre Damián from 11:30pm CEST.”"

The preseason is right around the corner and this guy will have a lot of eyes on him in his first few games in a Real Madrid kit. It should be very interesting to see how he handles the new pressure of playing in Europe for the biggest team in the world as a teenager.
