Real Madrid will take on yet another Italian side Tuesday night in East Rutherford, New Jersey as they close out their tour of the United States. Here is a quick preview for the match against AS Roma.

Following the win over Juventus on Saturday, Los Blancos will play their third and final match in the US tonight in the home of the NFL’s New York Giants and Jets. After scoring three goals and starting many of the regular first teamers against Juve, expect manager Julen Lopetegui to rotate the side heavily again.

With a short turnaround and a big Adidas event taking place yesterday in New York City, a lot of the youngsters should again take center stage here.

However, this could be the first match of the preseason in which we see captain Sergio Ramos make a cameo. The center back has been training with the team since they were in Miami and should be getting back to full speed.

He may be one of the only regular starters to play significant minutes in this match as several players – Isco, Keylor Navas, Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale – all played the entire first half of the match against Juve.

This will be Roma’s final tune-up match before they kickoff Serie A play in 12 days time. Plus, having had just over a week off since knocking off FC Barcelona in Dallas, manager Eusebio Di Francesco could deploy some of his bigger names to play a half or even an hour tonight.

The side from Rome is one and one in the US, losing their first match to Tottenham 4-1 before coming from behind to beat Barca 4-2.

Lopetegui has plenty of options to use on the forward line as Borja Mayoral and Raúl de Tomas played very little in the previous match. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dani Ceballos make his third consecutive start (especially considering it is his birthday today) and Martin Odegaard could receive some extra minutes.

Thibaut Courtois a no show at Chelsea training as he tries to force Real Madrid move. dark. Next

This should again be a fun match to watch as this is likely the last chance many of the Castilla players on the trip and fringe players will get before the start of the season in just over a week.

The match begins at 8:05 PM EST, 2:05 AM CEST.
