Extra Time

With the match finishing at 2-2 in regular time, extra time would be needed to settle the affair. Real Madrid started off by putting the pressure on but started to stumble quickly as Atletico Madrid started to dominate possession.

Real Madrid conceded two girls within 6 minutes of extra time instantly defeating the demeanor of the players. Both goals were a display of clinical finishing  In the second half of extra time, Real tried to press as much as they could but to no avail.

This match had great signs and also showed some of the vulnerabilities of this side. Having so much depth and young talent is great, but they, of course, lack the game IQ and maturity. Nonetheless, this is just game one of many this season, there is always room for improvement.
