Real Madrid has sent out 13 players to join their national teams for an array of fixtures to take place over the next two weeks. Here’s a look at who’s heading out and their games.

It’s only been three matches into the 2018/19 La Liga and we’ve arrived at the first international break of the season. This, of course, is a scheduled break that takes place every year and is annoying every year.

Given that it is also a World Cup year, it makes it slightly puzzling. But, there is a method to the madness. While Casemiro and Valverde players partake in friendlies the other 11 players will be playing in the new UEFA competition, the Nationals League.

Spain

As is always the case most of the players from Real Madrid will be joining the Spanish National Team. Julen Lopotegui who is now the Real Madrid manager has been replaced by former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, who was present at the match against Leganes.
