Players who impressed
The young Real Madrid squad on the pitch Wednesday really put on a show. Yes, I know Melilla is not the most talented team and this should always be an easy win for The Whites, but this one felt really good.

Álvaro Odriozola
The player of the match, in my opinion, has to be Álvaro Odriozola with the way he contributed on the attacking end. Tasked with filling in for two-way fullback Dani Carvajal, Odriozola looked a lot like Dani as he provided two assists in the match and managed to bag one himself.
His pace is jaw-dropping when he gets into open space with the ball or has to track back. Whoever the manager is moving forward will have to give this exciting player some more minutes.
Vinicius Júnior
Vinicius Júnior has been putting in some good performances with the Castilla team but has yet to make a real impact with the first-team. Today could’ve very well been his coming out party.
With two assists and so much raw talent it’s hard to believe, Vinicius was toying with the Melilla back line all match. Just look at this absurd rabona he pulled off.
Sergio Reguilon
The more I watch this kid play, the more I like him. He is tenacious on defense and can push forward when the time is right. While he may not get a whole lot of playing time when Marcelo is healthy, he will have a full two weeks, or more, to prove to the coaching staff that he is a budding star.
