Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been doing a lot of business in South America recently and the head of the biggest club in the world seems to be at it again. Los Blancos are showing considerable interest in midfielder Pedrinho.

Could Real Madrid really snag a third Brazilian player under 21-years-old in the last two years? It is looking very likely the defending Champions League winners will bring in another talented player to work his way up through the academy ranks.

Pedro Victor Delmino da Silva, better known simply as Pedrinho, has caught the attention of the Real Madrid board and negotiations have already begun between Perez and the president of Corinthians, Andres Sanchez.

Usually, when we see these rumors involving Los Blancos, there is little more than speculation and the rumor mill which supports the claims.

However, in this instance, the Corinthians official Twitter posted a picture of Perez, Sanchez, and Real Madrid legend Ronaldo – who is the owner of Rayo Vallecano – in front of the UCL trophy at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The reason Ronaldo is involved is because Real Madrid plan on signing Pedrinho as soon as January if it’s possible, then loaning him out to Rayo for at least the remainder of the season and possibly into next year.

Perez will have to shell out the cash in order to pick up the talented attacking midfielder with his release clause set at €50 million, slightly higher than that of Vinicius Júnior and Rodrygo who both made the switch from Brazil to Spain.

From what I have seen in his highlights, this kid has the raw skills needed to be great, he just needs a little bit more time to develop.

He is not a natural goalscorer by any means, but his contributions in the middle of the park, helping to build up the attack, are simply stunning.

Pedrinho is averaging nearly one key pass per match, 76 percent pass completion, and 2.3 dribbles per match – according to WhoScored.

Real Madrid would have five Brazilian players on the team if they were to acquire Pedrinho and that number could continue to rise if the talent keeps coming like it has.

President Perez, work your magic!
