Records, on records, on records
Real Madrid has proven they run Europe, winning the Champions League a record 13 times, they have proven they own Spain, winning La Liga a record 33 times, and now, they have proven they are the best club in the world as they have now won seven club world titles.
This is the club’s fourth Club World Cup title in just the 15th year of the tournament’s current format and is the new name for what was the Intercontinental Cup. Los Blancos won the Intercontinental Cup three times.
Madrid now sits one championship ahead of rivals FC Barcelona who have won the tournament three times and finished runners-up once.
