As ABBA, one of the all-time greatest band’s of all time said, “Money, money, money!” That is what Madrid president Florentino Perez when he sees this report that was released late on Wednesday.

It is very interesting that Real and the rest of the teams in Spain don’t have as lucrative a broadcasting deal as the English Premier League, but Barca and Real Madrid out-earned every British team.
England did have the most teams represented with nine in the top 20, however, Atletico Madrid also made the list, coming in at 13th with €304.4 million earned. Spain totaled three clubs on the list.
Thanks to yet another appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup and hoping for a deep run in the Champions League, Real Madrid could easily break this mark during this season.
The club has finished atop the rankings 12 times now and will likely continue to be one of the top five teams in the world thanks to the incredible reach the club has. Add in marketing and there is little doubt Real Madrid can break €1 billion in earnings.
