Gareth Bale – 5

The Welshman had an absolutely disastrous game from start to finish. Bale never really got into the stride of things as he had just 20 touches in the first half, 10 more than Thibaut Courtois. Gareth would continue his poor run into the second half with seven more touches along with just one shot on target before being taken out in the 62′ minute.

Karim Benzema – 8.5

Karim Benzema has been lights out over recent weeks, the kind of form that fans will hope to see continue. Opening up the scoring yet again, Benzema is showing off a much more confident version of himself. Subbing out in the 74′ minute, Big Benz finished with two shots on target, a dribble and an 81% PA.

Vinicius Jr. – 9

Without a doubt, Vinicus Jr. was the man of the match, and this match was by no means a one-off. Creating chances from the get-go, he troubled the defence of Alaves on numerous occasions. The youngster led his side with five dribbles and was fouled three times, the most of any player in white. He topped off his excellent performance with a goal in the 80′ minutes as he was substituted out just four minutes later. Vini has shown excellent decision making and game IQ.
