Substitutes

Gareth Bale – 7.5

Coming on for Vinicius in the 56-minute, Bale has shown once again that he is the man for the big occasion. Teaming up with another former Spur, Gareth flew forward onto the through ball of Modric to dismantle the back line of Atletico. Bale has clearly made a case for himself as Real face some stiff competition in the next few weeks.

Dani Ceballos – N/A

Coming on with less than 10-minutes to play it’s hard to get a read on a player. With 11 touches he played a clean game and didn’t take any chances in trying glory hunt.

Mariano Diaz – N/A

Like Ceballos, there isn’t much to say about the backup striker. That being said the determination was ever present in his eyes.
