Real Madrid fell apart against Girona on Matchday 24 top drop down into third place, here’s a look at the player ratings from the match.

Real Madrid played host to Girona as they returned to La Liga action for Matchday 24. Solari’s men seemed to have a firm grip on the match as well as a one-goal lead, but all that fell apart with a half hour left to play.

Manager Santiago Solari made some questionable changes to the starting XI, namely Marcelo for Sergio Reguilon. Substitutes later on in the match were also brought into question as Girona ran away with the match.

Despite controlling most of the possession, as well as shots on target Madrid, were unable to hist back against Girona’s surprise attack. The 2-1 loss means Real Madrid are now back in third place, two points behind rivals Atletico Madrid. Here’s a look at the player ratings.
