Marcelo in a Funk

I wouldn’t say Marcelo has one single issue per se, or maybe I’m just unable put it all under one umbrella. Marcelo has been having some fitness issues this season and there’s no doubting that. Unfortunately, that plays on the minds of football players, and any athlete for that matter.

In addition, Father Time is doing him no favours. Finally, I think people are expecting the Marcelo of two seasons ago, which in my opinion is behind him. I don’t doubt that he can have great performances but to play a full season at the level he did in his past is far fetched.

Marcelo does love Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane as they were his colleagues for many seasons. The last part of your question will be ignored.
