Real Madrid prepares to take on Eibar in La Liga just three days after suffering a 2-1 loss to Valencia at the Mestalla.

Los Merengues continue to fight to end the season on as much of a high note as possible as things look a little more difficult for them now after they suffered their first loss since Zidane’s comeback on Wednesday.

With Zidane preparing to continuously heavily rotate his team and give everyone a chance to show their capabilities, expect some major changes against Eibar after many of the main squad members took part in the match less than three days ago.

Real Madrid has nothing to play for and because of that, we will not be able to see the full strength of the squad that we are hoping for until next season but there are certain players in the team who know that they need to come out with their very best performances.

Against Eibar, all Madridistas are expecting to see the team make a statement and come back from that loss to Valencia.

Eibar currently find themselves in 11th place as they have exceeded expectations so far this season and seem like they’ll be able to end the campaign in a mid-table position. Also, the last time the two teams faced each other earlier in the season, the hosts at the time were able to come out with one of the shocks of the season after completely outplaying Real Madrid and comfortably won 3-0.

If anything, Los Blancos will have to fight for some type of revenge and gain all three points at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid enters this match without Thibaut Courtois, Daniel Carvajal, Marcos Llorente, and Vinicius Junior who continue to recover from their injuries while Zinedine Zidane has opted against calling up Sergio Ramos and Mariano Diaz for this game.

Marcelo will not be able to take part either as he’s suspended after an accumulation of yellow cards.

Zinedine Zidane admits it is hard to motivate players right now. dark. Next

Zidane will have to make changes to the team, but he’ll also want to field a squad strong enough to come out with all three points against a team that has already beaten them this season, albeit with Santiago Solari as manager at the time.

Predicted Starting Lineup

Keylor Navas, Alvaro Odriozola, Nacho Fernandez, Raphael Varane, Sergio Reguilón, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale, Isco, Karim Benzema
